Upcoming iPhones Will Use a 3D Camera Made by Sony

Apple already started work on upcoming 2019s iPhone and upcoming iPhone might pack some interested technology we haven't seen yet in smartphone.

Last year's flop iPhones models cause Apple to loss 446$ B in just 3 months, So Apple is working hard on upcoming iPhone models to get back users interest and investors as well.

According to new report Apple might be using a 3D Sony camera for its upcoming 2019 iPhone models. Apple has already been using a 3D infrared camera for accurate facial recognition ever since it launched the iPhone X.

This is a new type of sensor which has recently been developed by Sony and works a bit differently than Apple’s current 3D facial recognition hardware.

The new sensor by Sony can accurately scan real-life objects, such as living room furniture by using laser emitters that model these objects in 3D.

According to report Apple will use these new cameras on the front and back (Rear) side for all upcoming iPhone models.

This new technology will help to boost gaming and education.
Sony says :

That it’ll be able to change the way smartphone cameras are used these days.

Bloomberg writes :

Sony showed several examples using a custom phone with a 3D camera on its rear. In one app, users made specific hand gestures to cast magic spells inside a virtual game. In another, the phone calculated the depth of the room and accurately displayed a virtual goldfish swimming in front of and behind real-life objects.

Apple is not only buyer of Sony'new technology other big tech giants such as Samsung and Huawei might b me interested in buying this technology and we might be see these new cameras in Samsung Galaxy s10 too.
