Bank Account Information System (Re-Verification of Banking Accounts)

Bank Account Verification System - Need of Present Era

State Bank of Pakistan needs to develop a system immediately to find out the total number of Bank Accounts (Chequing or Non-Chequing) registered against your CNIC number (or Registration number, sales tax / NTN number etc in case of Company(s) business account), just by entering your CNIC / Registration number, Sales tax / NTN number and click Submit; one would be able to find out how many accounts are opened in his/ her/ business name e.t.c.

It's time to Say “No” to FAKE ACCOUNTS or Un-Authorized  use of Banking Accounts

State Bank of Pakistan in Collaboration with Commercial Banks, Non-Banking Financial Company (NBFCs), IBFCs e.t.c should also introduce Bio-metric Verification System (BVS) to Carry Out Following Transactions after Online Verification from NADRA

Re-verification of Existing Accounts

Please note that currently only new accounts are being processed through Bio-metric Verification System (BVS).

State Bank of Pakistan should develop a BAIS (Bank Account Information System) to address associated risks on security and to ensure account holding regulations in banking sector.  The objective of the project should be to provide a consumer-based facility to Account Holders in Pakistan by which they would be able to find out the total number of Accounts (Chequing or Non-Chequing) registered against their respective CNIC number, Registration number, Sales tax / NTN number with each Licensed Banking / Non - Banking Institutions. You thus get a response with number of accounts (Chequing or Non-Chequing) opened against this CNIC for banking companies. It’s not necessary that this Service tell your account numbers, instead it must tell you amount of numbers of accounts.

A system should be implemented immediately to ensure your safety and avoid registration of an account (Chequing or Non-Chequing) having wrong / fake credentials against your CNIC.
