No doubt Woman’s status in Muslim Community / Society is very clear in Islam since inception i.e. from 14 centuries ago. Women are not inferior as compared to Men. Islam  has given that status, pride, power, empowerment & importance to Women; which was never ever given to women before Islam. It may not be wrong to say that women have power to give birth to new life which Allah has bestowed to women only on this earth among Human Beings.

They are respected in each and every relation whether she is a Daughter, Sister, Wife and / or Mother e.t.c; she is respected in every aspect.

Islam has granted certain rights to women over Men which are clearly mentioned in Quran (Book of Allah, revealed on Prophet Muhammad P.B.U.H). Subject matter of Quran is Human Being. However Allah instructed in Quran that men have control over their women and women has to obey men. And this is again for the safety of women. Apart from this women have equal rights in Muslim Society is every respect.

Women are taken care of in each and every relation she is safeguarded by her Kind Father, Lovable Brother, Loving Husband, Good Son & Islamic Society as well; in all these beautiful relations she is respected and guarded always. We may say that she is in safe hands always and this all because of Islamic Culture and Society. However we can never forget that sacrifices women make is all these relations. World can never be So Beautiful and Life So Meaningful without the women’s sacrifices for her Family (especially) and Surroundings. Both Men and Women are equal in Respect, Dignity, Intelligence, Mental Ability and Capacity; except in instances where Quran & Sunnah clearly / explicitly mentioned. Some examples are mentioned below (where one have greater and / or exclusive right(s) over the other):

  • Haq Mehar is entitled to woman only payable by her man, or father in law (as the case maybe).
  • In inheritance women have lesser share as compared to men.
  • Nan – Nafqah (Maintenance) is duty & mandatory over men.
  • Dressing modestly rules are separate for Men and separate for women. (Source: http://www.abukhadeejah.com/)

However; both Men and Women only need to follow the boundaries and understand their limitations prescribed in Islam, Quran & Sunnah. Indeed Allah know what’s the best for Humans. And both men & women has to follow The Teachings of ISLAM.

Humans are the best creation of Allah and I opt to say that Women are the Best Creation on this earth among humans and in whole Universe.
