We all know Samsung is working on foldable smartphone and everybody Everybody is curious about how the world’s first foldable smartphone will look like. In the past few months, Samsung and Huawei both have appeared as the main contenders working on the production of foldable smartphones and we already posted many posts about Huawei Foldable Smartphone and Samsung's Foldable Smartphone.

Samsung while conversing with a blog, The Investor, back in Korea has uncovered more details on this project. As indicated by Samsung, it has put aside a team of 200 individuals obtained from different research and business segments of the company. These individuals will work to quicken the large scale manufacturing of foldable boards/Panels.

 Moreover, the vice president of the OLED business division is now tasked to lead the foldable panels production. Samsung wouldn't like to lose the race to end up the world's first foldable Smartphone manufacturer but it also realizes that quality and durability of the phone is equally important.

“Samsung would not like to lose the world's first title with regards to a foldable phone,” he said. “Thus far we were cautious about commenting on the new phone launch largely due to quality and toughness issues however now the issues have been settled and we are nearing the final stages.”

This also means that Samsung is not in a rush to go into the production and what's more, it needs to determine any issues that may occur in the mass reception of the smartphone before the phone is in the hands of the consumer.

Huawei, is already working quickly for the large scale production of foldable OLED panels. The company has procured BOE technologies, a Chinese firm that manufactures displays for the task.
