WhatsApp New Feature Allows One-Way Broadcasting To Group Chats

 [full_width]
WhatsApp owned by Facebook introduced new feature for groups to create one-way broadcast communication streams (Whatsapp copied this feature from Telegram Channels features) With the new feature, the owners of a group can make it such that they are the only ones capable of sending messages — essentially handing them a massive megaphone for shouting at people. This feature is similar to giving an authority to someone, giving them a megaphone for shouting at people. This WhatsApp new feature is amazing.

WhatsApp announced this feature in blog post as:
“Today, we’re launching a new group setting where only admins are able to send messages to a group. “One way people use groups is to receive important announcements and information, including parents and teachers at schools, community centres, and non-profit organizations.”

The Facebook-owned company, WhatsApp has introduced many other new features in the last few months such as group descriptions, audio and video messages and added some new stickers.

How to Turn on WhatsApp New Feature:

In order to turn on this newest feature, Follow the following steps:
  • you’ll need to open up Group Info
  • ap on Group Settings
  • Send Messages
  • select “Only Admins.
The feature will be available to all users globally. Facebook is expert copying others features as Facebook copied almost every Snapchat feature to its parent apps.
