Instagram world's biggest photo sharing app already loaded with all sorts of features these days, we can send direct messages like twitter and now Instagram rolling out new and most awaited update with this new update it'll be easier to get in touch with friends right away.
Instagram started rolling out this update today and you'll begin to see a small green icon next to people within Instagram (Same like Messenger and Facebook) that indicates they're online and actively using the app.
The feature is very important because now we can see who is online and we can chat easily with each other.
This icon/indicator will be present just about everywhere you go, including your inbox for direct messages and your friends list when sharing a post you see on your main feed.
And If you don't want to show your friends that you're online then you can jump into the new Activity Status section of the app and toggle off the Show Activity Status option.
