Cycling (Green Travel): A Good Alternative of Entertainment

I am forced to write about CYCLING (one of the healthy activities) after viewing misleading youth of my beloved country. Youth and young generation requires healthy activities in order to utilize their energy (both mental and physical energy). And primarily its Government’s responsibility that they provide ample & more than enough opportunities to young generation where they can showcase their mental and physical abilities & capabilities in a meaningful manner, positively and make Pakistan proud.
In Healthy Activities like sports and written competitions our youth examine & tryout their potential. It is rightly said there is a lot of talent in Pakistan. Through such healthy activities we can harness & channelize this talent & potential otherwise all would go astray.
I urge to “Pakistan Cycling Federation”, “Pakistan Olympic Association” & “Pakistan Sports Board” to take some serious steps for encouragement of “Cycling Sports” in Pakistan. And at least “Cycling Day” should be celebrated once in a year, cycling competitions should be arranged on quarterly, biannually and annually basis. Also be informed that World Cycling Day (also known as WCD) is held annually on the 17th of September internationally. Its inception as the first global cycling cultural festival was celebrated in 2017, the year coincides with the 200th anniversary of the birth of bicycles. (Source: Wikipedia)

Strange but true that there are about 41 sports listed on website of Pakistan Sports Board whereby around 28 sports (including cycling) calendar / schedule is yet to be prepared.Also Read Humble Suggestion to Traffic Police Authorities
Benefits of Cycling.

- Reduce air pollution by
- Feel and love the cities through riding bicycles,
- Make the cities a better place by bicycles to contribute to a low carbon, green and healthy city, and a pollution free earth.
